There is something so spectacular about being a second shooter at a wedding. For me, a wedding is an experience and often times a journey that I take with my couples. As a second shooter you haven’t had a chance to experience that journey alongside the bride and groom until wedding day comes. With that being said you enter into a wedding knowing nothing but the fact that this will be one of the greatest day of this couples life together! You have a fresh pair of eyes and get to see things that often missed is the hustle and chaos that is bound to happen. With all that being said I personal love being a second shooter because i get to fill in some of the gaps in a couples story. I was so happy when Krista, of krista A. Jones photographer asked me to shoot this Southern Maryland wedding with her. I adore this venue and it was well worth the 2.5 hour drive. Such a stunning property with the most beautiful peonie garden where the couple shared the most sweet first look. Congrats to Lauren + Korey and again thank you Krista for the opportunity!
