This weekend was one of the busiest weekends I have had all summer. I met Emily & Justin in downtown Annapolis for their US Naval Academy engagement session. Their session just has me more and more excited that they have allowed for 2 hours between their Ceremony and Reception for photos at the Academy and in downtown, what a dream come true. Here are a couple photos from their super fun session!photo 3

On Sunday I hosted a boudoir Marathon in Savage Maryland. OHMYGOSH, I can’t tell you enough times how amazing all 3 women were. They ROCKED their sessions! I had a friend and fellow Photographer Angela helping me out that day and we are already planning a 2nd boudoir marathon just in time for Holiday gifts so let me know if you might be interested. Due to the nature of the sessions and to protect the privacy of my clients I really won’t be sharing any sneak peeks of these.

I have gain a brand new passion for boudoir. There is something so beautiful and empowering about this type of portrait session. Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

Immediately after the boudoir sessions I jetted over to downtown Baltimore for another incredible engagement session! Wow, the evening light in the city was pure perfection last night and Lisa & Ross killed it! We played with sidewalk chalked and danced in the setting sun. I can’t wait to share their full session with you all. PS… Ross owns a food truck in the city called Egg & Cheese Yo. One of Baltimore’s ONLY Breakfast food truck! In fact, it might actually be the only breakfast food truck! How cool is that!photo 1photo 2

Thank you all so much for tuning into another weekend rewind here at JHP! XOXO – J

Hi, I'm Jen!

I'm a photographer, a guide, and a quiet calm in the middle of your most meaningful day.

I’ve always been drawn to emotion — to the joy in a father’s eyes during the first look, the soft nervous energy right before the ceremony, the tiny, fleeting in-between moments most people miss. Capturing those is what I do best.

My work is grounded in empathy, trust, and intention. I’ll support you through the planning, walk you through the timeline, and ensure that you feel seen and celebrated from start to finish.

This isn’t just about pretty pictures — it’s about preserving what matters, so you can return to it again and again.
