This weekend was one of the best. John and I were busy bees getting things done around the house and Saturday and Sunday in addition to a gorgeous Baltimore Engagement session Sunday evening. While we would have like to accomplish more this weekend there just wasn’t enough time in the day!

While we didn’t get everything accomplished we sure made a dent in out “projects before we move” list. Saturday we finished, refinishing 2 dressers and a bedside table for our guest room! I took a few iPhone photos (See below) to show its transformation. I am so proud of the work that went into these pieces. John started sanding this project last weekend and finished up the 2nd dresser on Saturday while I painted.  WOW! It look us all stinking day. Sunday morning we picked out new hardware for the pieces. It’s truly amazing what new paint or stain and new set of hardware can do to a piece of furniture. I realize as I get older that I am not much for DIY projects but I sure do love transforming furniture. We used Sherwin Williams paint color in Sea Salt for the dressers and night stand. Its such a fun color. We also plan to use this color in our mater bath once our house in finished!

Aside from finishing projects one of our new goals for the weekends is to start packing. Can I just tell you how much I HATE MOVING & HATE PACKING! UGH! So we decided to start early and go room by room. We wanted to get a little more done this weekend but we still accomplished the guest room! Any non essentials are pack and ready to go (P.S. its pretty much the smallest room in the house…oh well!)

Enough about that, let’s get to the best part of the weekend…. This seriously gorgeous engagement session!

CHRISTINA + TEDDY

Spring is FINALLY in the air folks! Even if our sessions as chilly, windy and overcast… it was filled was beautiful spring colors. Christina + Teddy and sweet Mr. Echo (Who was on his best behavior all day!) met me in Fells point, a special place in their heart as that’s where Teddy popped the question! We walked around the city and stopped in a few quaint areas before heading to Patterson Park to catch more of the spring blooms. I cant wait to share more from this session so make sure to check back soon! Christina + Teddy, thank you so much for spending the afternoon with and putting up with the chilly wind!

XOXO – j

Hi, I'm Jen!

I'm a photographer, a guide, and a quiet calm in the middle of your most meaningful day.

I’ve always been drawn to emotion — to the joy in a father’s eyes during the first look, the soft nervous energy right before the ceremony, the tiny, fleeting in-between moments most people miss. Capturing those is what I do best.

My work is grounded in empathy, trust, and intention. I’ll support you through the planning, walk you through the timeline, and ensure that you feel seen and celebrated from start to finish.

This isn’t just about pretty pictures — it’s about preserving what matters, so you can return to it again and again.
