Happy Friday all! Today is the 1st Friday in a very long time that I have been off work with nothing to do (ok I lied I was in Saint Martin 2 Fridays ago but that’s beside the point). So what better way to spend it than getting person and real with you all. A few years ago…maybe more than a few, I came across a quote by Mark Twain that struck me in a way that nothing ever has. So much so that I had part of it Tattooed on my foot. “Esplora . Sogno . Scoprire.” or “Explore. Dream. Discover.” Pretty awesome right? Ok, maybe you are thinking to yourself what the heck, no thats nothing special. I get that. Lets examine the quote in its entirety, its far more meaningful, deep and really allows you to open it up to our own life interpretation. Oh, and P.S. I had it written in Italian because I knew Italy would be the 1st of many trips over seas and my family being Italian also made it seem fitting.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain

I truly believe that I was born a dreamer, I was born a creative, and I was born full of wanderlust… Born to travel, and to explore the world and destined for adventure. This quote struck me to my core when I read it. I think I was 22??? Never had been outside of North America… In the middle of college, bored out of my mind, and doing the safe thing. Let me tell you, I wanted to get up and walk out of class and book a one way ticket to… well anywhere. Part of me still to this day wishes I had and now this is something I carry with me everywhere. A sublet reminder that

  • risks are usually worth taking.
  • Creativity is a must in life. Even if its in your own house – experiment in the kitchen, deviate from what that recipe book tells you to do and just see what happens!
  • I WILL see the world before I die and I will do everything in my power to see the entire thing.
  • Food is ALWAYS better in a different country! and wine!

Lucky for me, 3 years or so later, I married a man who shares the same love for travel, exploration, and adventure. I know that at any given moment he will follow my hearts desires to see the world. We have plans, big plans for the next few years and I can wait to make them happen.

I was born to EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.

Hi, I'm Jen!

I'm a photographer, a guide, and a quiet calm in the middle of your most meaningful day.

I’ve always been drawn to emotion — to the joy in a father’s eyes during the first look, the soft nervous energy right before the ceremony, the tiny, fleeting in-between moments most people miss. Capturing those is what I do best.

My work is grounded in empathy, trust, and intention. I’ll support you through the planning, walk you through the timeline, and ensure that you feel seen and celebrated from start to finish.

This isn’t just about pretty pictures — it’s about preserving what matters, so you can return to it again and again.
