As some of you may know, when our home is complete Jen Harvey Photography will have a brand new in home meeting space! A few years back, I attended Melissa Jill’s MJ2Day in Phoenix Arizona. Melissa hosted this work shop in her home which allowed us to gain more insight into her personality but also it allowed us to see the spaces in which she works and meets clients. I LOVED the idea of meeting with clients in my home. There is something so much more personal about the experience of meeting and choosing a photographer when you are in a more relaxed environment.
I told john when we started talking about buying a home that one of my must have was a space that I could meet clients in. A space separate from the rest of our home, that i could show case my incredible couples by hanging canvases and having albums our for people to see… Starbucks is always fun, but sometimes it does get old.
I am so thrilled that that idea of mine is finally coming true; the entire down stairs living room will be a space just for JHP and my lovely couples and clients. I wanted to share a few photos that have been inspiring me for my space. We are not 100 percent decide on the exact colors but here are a few of the ideas that we are leaning towards. This has been such a fun experience to share with John. Even though this is not his space, it has been great have his input on a few things since he is the one who will be doing all of the hard work like hanging Wayne’s Coating, painting, trim work etc. I absolutely can’t wait to share the finished product with you and of course a few more stages along the way!
