The Harvey’s Build A Home | Vol.2

Good morning all! if you follow me on Instagram I am sure that you have seen what has been going on… after MANY months of waiting, construction on our new home have finally started!

If you have been following from the start, you may thing to yourself, wait a min those photos look different from the first. YEP! John receive an awesome job opportunity and Ryan homes allowed us to move our purchase agreement to a development MUCH closer to where he is working. We will be staying east of the city in the same area we are currently renting. In the end, everything works out exactly how it should even if you have to sacrifice a little bit to get there.

We are officially entering into week 3 of the building phase and I am hopeful that our foundation should be poured this week! Yesterday my husband John drove by and said that the lumber has been delivered and we all know what that means, its framing time! This process moves so fast once they actually break ground! As exciting as this process is, building a home has also been very stressful. There are lots of moments of happiness, a few stress, and a few tears, but ultimately we are so happy to finally be investing in something we can call our own. While plans have changed a little since we 1st bought our home, we are still so very excited to have reached this milestone in our life, and going through it together couldn’t be any more special! Our 1st home is also our 1st home together!
